Oekametall developed Lancôme’s first vibrating mascara in a record-breaking time of only four months, including the ready to go to production phase.
The small battery-powered motor is assembled in the cap. Pressing the button induces the vibration of the brush at 7000 oscillations per minute. The cap features a hot foil decoration. The whole case has a transparent UV lacquered finish. Coating is done at CCO GmbH, the subsidiary of Oekametall. The UV finish provides high mechanical resistance and adds a brilliant shine to the pack.
It’s a novelty that not the separate parts are coated individually but the entire cap and bottle are coated in one piece.
